UPDATE:
The deceased on scene was identified as 70-year-old Jeannie Elliot. Next of kin has been notified. Circumstances of the accident are still under investigation, and this case is still active.
Saturday October 5, 2019-
Temple Police is currently investigating a fatality accident that occurred Friday evening approx. 5:20 p.m. near the 8200 block of W Adams. The accident involved two vehicles.
Exact circumstances of the collision are still under investigation. The driver of one vehicle was a 70-year-old female who was pronounced deceased on scene. ID of the female will be released once it is confirmed that next of kin have been notified. The other driver did not sustain major injuries, thus was not transported to the hospital. No other injuries have been reported at this time.
