The Directory News attended a meet-and-greet at Johnny’s Steaks & BBQ in Salado, where State Rep. Brad Buckley and Bell County Precinct 2 Commissioner Bobby Whitson spoke with voters, delivered remarks and answered questions ahead of the November election.
Buckley, who represents Texas House District 54, discussed his work in the Legislature and his campaign for another term. Whitson, who is seeking reelection as Precinct 2 commissioner, addressed several county issues and spent significant time discussing the proposed Bell County hospital district that voters will consider in November.
